Kjersten Bakke and Stephanie Johnson-Bakke will be hosting a 4-night and 3-day retreat just outside of Livingston, MT. Cost of the trip includes lodging, food, transportation to/from Bozeman airport and to/from activities if needed, at least one educational session per day, 1-2 guided workouts per day, optional outdoor activities (some may require an additional fee), and of course the fun of hanging out with Kjersten, Stephanie, and other fun clients!!

A maximum of 10 guests can be accommodated, so register quickly to save your spot! Only $1500 for a two person shared room with individual beds (8 spots), or $1700 for a private room (2 spots).

  1. Information: Hybrid Athletic Club LLC (“Hybrid”) makes every effort to ensure that the information contained in the trip description is as precise and accurate as possible. However, Hybrid shall not be liable for any errors or omissions that may, in spite of these efforts, appear in the description.
  1. Commitment of Good Faith: Hybrid shall act in good will and will make all efforts within its competence and belief to ensure an enjoyable and safe journey that satisfies the client and fully meets his/her expectations and wishes.
  1. Trip Price: The trip price shall include the cost of the ground transportation to and from Bozeman airport, lodging, 3 meals and 1 snack per day, 1 educational session per day, 1-2 workouts per day, on request one-on-one nutrition consults for the duration of the trip, and group activities such as hiking, or fishing. Some discretionary activities such as horseback riding, golfing, or whitewater rafting will be provided at a small additional cost. However, Hybrid has worked hard to ensure we receive the best group rate possible (because we want to go too!!!!)
Air or ground transportation to and from your home to Montana is NOT included. No refund or reduction will be made for non-utilization of any item or service included in the trip price for any reason whatsoever. The price for this 4-night, 3-day trip is:
  • $1500 for a shared room with two beds (8 spots available)
  • $1700 for a private room (2 private rooms available)
  1. Reservation: A reservation must be made by calling Hybrid Athletic Club at 608-335-6501 or emailing sbakke@hybridathleticclub.com . The Club will then mail, email, or send for electronic signature these Terms and Conditions. The return of these Terms and Conditions with a client signature as well as a semi-refundable deposit of at least 30% of the trip price shall then secure the reservation.
  1. Payment: The semi-refundable deposit may be made with cash, check payable to Hybrid Athletic Club, PayPal or credit card. The client can inform Hybrid of their preferred method of payment at the time of reservation. The 30% minimum deposit must be made at time of reservation. The remaining portion of the trip price must be paid in full no later than March 15th, 2019.
  1. Cancellation by client: Cancellations must be called into Hybrid Athletic Club or emailed to sbakke@hybridathleticclub.com and shall be effective only when received by Hybrid. For all cancellations made prior to March 15th, 2019, all of the deposit already paid to Hybrid shall be reimbursed to the client, less any credit card fees incurred with the original payment. For later cancellations, Hybrid Athletic Club shall apply the following policy:
    • After March 15th, 2019 but before April 30th, 2019: Hybrid Athletic Club retains 60% of the payment made.
    • After April 30th, 2019: No refund.
If the client fails to arrive for start of the trip at the scheduled time and place, or is unable to do so for any reason whatsoever, the client will not be eligible for any refund.
  1. Cancellations/Modifications by Hybrid: The trip requires a minimum of 5 participants. If the minimum number is not reached by March 15th, 2019 then Hybrid will cancel the trip and refund the total amount that each client has paid.
In the event of unforeseeable events and circumstances beyond control of Hybrid such as natural disaster, Hybrid reserves the right to cancel the trip or make changes to the travel arrangements as follows:
  • If the trip is cancelled prior to the departure date, Hybrid shall notify the clients at the earliest possible date and refund all the amounts that have been paid by the Client.
  • If a major change is made in the travel arrangements, i.e. a different itinerary, destination, etc., Hybrid shall notify the clients at the earliest possible date and the notified clients may decide whether to cancel the trip or to accept such a change. If the client decides to cancel the trip, Hybrid shall provide a full refund. If the client accepts the change, such acceptance shall be considered as a new contract specifying the substitution trip and its effects on the price. If the substitution trip is cheaper than the original trip, the difference shall be refunded to the client. If the substitution trip is more expensive, the client shall pay a supplement, provided that he/she accepts the substitution.
In the case of cancellation, Hybrid’s liability is limited to a return to the client of any amounts paid and the client shall not be entitled to any other compensation whatsoever.
  1. Obligations of the client: The client shall commit to:
    • Comply with the local laws, requirements and formalities of local police, health and other public authority;
    • Act in a courteous manner towards Hybrid’s employees and other trip participants during the whole trip;
    • Cooperate with transport, lodging, restaurant operators, tour guides and other providers and comply with their terms and rules under which such services are provided
  1. Insurance: Travel or trip insurance is not included in the trip price. The client is responsible for obtaining insurance if he/she feels it is necessary. Hybrid shall not be liable whatsoever for any consequences that may arise out of the client’s failure or negligence to obtain such insurance, including medical expenses, travel cancellation or modification, loss of luggage, or accident.
  1. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Participating in any trip organized by Hybrid may involve the risk of death, injury, mental or emotional trauma, disability or property damage from hazards and dangers associated with such activities as 4WD driving and self-driving, horse riding, hiking, fishing, trekking, rock climbing, swimming, etc., including but not limited to injuries caused by falling from horse, injuries resulting from slipping or falling on uneven terrain, injury or illness resulting from exposure to cold, sun, windy or other weather conditions, injury resulting from non-use, misuse or failure of equipment, including cars, riding or climbing hardware, as well as improper treatment of animals. Certain risks are inherent in these activities and cannot be eliminated or mitigated. By making a reservation with Hybrid, the client affirms that he/she has considered these risks, that his/her participation in the trip organized by or involving Hybrid is entirely his/her choice, and that he/she agrees to freely accept and fully assume all such risks as well as any other risks involved in participating in the trips and trip activities organized by Hybrid and the possibility of any resulting injury, loss or damage. The client and its beneficiaries agree to release, waive and discharge Hybrid and all of owners, operators, its employees from and against any and all presently existing and/or future liabilities, damages, actions and claims relating to or arising from any activity, occurrence or event involving Hybrid, or relating to or arising from any action or omission by Hybrid or by any employee of Hybrid, regardless of whether such action or omission constitutes negligence. The client and its beneficiaries further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hybrid and all of its employees against any loss, damage, liability and expense incurred by Hybrid as a result of the client’s participating in the trips and trip activities organized by or involving Hybrid.
  1. Age/Health/Medical Condition of the Client: The client confirms and represents to Hybrid that he/she is over the age of 18, or will be accompanied by a guardian over the age of 18. The client also confirms that he/she is in good health, and does not suffer from any serious medical condition that may be aggravated by participating in the trip activities, some of which may be physically demanding. If the client becomes unable to complete the trip due to intentionally undisclosed health conditions, he/she shall not be entitled to seek any compensation whatsoever from Hybrid. The client must inform Hybrid of any impairment or disability that may limit his/her participation in the trip activities at the time the client reserves his/her trip. Hybrid shall endeavor to make reasonable efforts to address the needs and/or requirements of individuals with impairments or disabilities. However, the client must take into consideration that Hybrid’s trip package and Hybrid’s personnel are not specially equipped to cater and/or provide for the needs and/or requirements of such individuals. Therefore, Hybrid strongly urges all intending trip participants to equip themselves with all special care and/or needs that they may require.
  1. Disputes and Limitation of Damages: In the event of a dispute, Hybrid and the client shall endeavor to seek an amicable and faithful agreement. If the parties fail to reach such agreement, the dispute shall be referred to the court and shall be governed solely by Wisconsin law. The client may submit a claim within 30 (thirty) days from the completion of the trip. Claims submitted after this deadline shall not be considered. However, no claim against Hybrid arising out of, or relating to, these Terms and Conditions, the trip, or events or omissions that occur during or in connection with the trip, shall exceed the amount actually paid by the client to Hybrid for the trip. Hybrid shall not be liable for any damages or losses other than damages or losses that are actually incurred and already paid for by client, nor shall Hybrid Athletic Club be liable for any consequential damages, future damages, lost profit, lost opportunity, mental anguish, or pain and suffering.
